From Little Leaguers to Major Leaguers, J.R. has experience teaching individuals at all levels of the game. And now, JR Baseball Boot Camp’s online baseball and softball lesson programs will bring one of baseball’s best coaches right into your home through your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Beginning at age 8 through high school, J.R. can help your son or daughter with baseball or softball in all aspects of the game, from the fundamentals of pitching and hitting to fielding and mental preparedness.

Regardless of your player’s ability level, you can be confident in J.R.’s capabilities. He spends hours teaching lessons, researching body mechanics and watching the film to develop the best techniques, drills, and training programs for baseball and softball.

For male college baseball players and beyond, J.R. focuses solely on pitching, with the goal of refining the athlete’s approach and getting him to the next level.

VIRTUAL LESSONS MEAN

Here's how it works.

With just a smartphone, you can (and probably already do) capture video at practice or games.

Simply send the video to J.R. and he’ll contact you to set up a virtual meeting via Facetime or Zoom, where he will provide you with analysis, feedback and correctives.

Online lessons can be done in your garage, backyard, or living room using a swing away, live front toss, a tee and even Wiffle balls!

With each virtual lesson, your player receives individualized, one-on-one instruction, practices drills, and reviews progress through video analysis, all on your time, and in the comfort of your own home.

Each player’s program is unique. For each lesson, you’ll send new video for J.R. to break down, analyze progress, & layout new drills/training instructions custom to your player's goals, development, & areas for improvement.

The Rookie Special is designed to help new clients create a plan to develop their abilities to their fullest. It includes two (2) 30-minute lessons for $80 and is perfect for the player looking to enhance their skills on the baseball or softball field.

During his 40+ years in the game, as a player and coach J.R. has uncovered thousands of drills, tips and tricks that help lead to success. While he will use many of these nuggets over the course of working with you or your child, there are a few secrets that are proven to be literal game-changers.

For the high school pitcher who is looking to secure that college scholarship or that minor leaguer who has been stuck at Triple-A for years, J.R. can help take bring your game to the next level with access to “The Vault.”

To be considered for this special program, players must have taken a minimum of 12 lessons from J.R. and have demonstrated the desire, commitment and hard work necessary to achieve results. For more information on pricing and plans, please contact J.R. directly.

LESSON POLICIES

Please allow 2-3 business days between submission of video and online lesson for review. Generally, review can be done in a quicker time period if necessary, but more time is always preferred.

If you must cancel your scheduled lesson, 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule. If you cancel less than the 24 hours’ notice, the lesson will not be able to be rescheduled or refunded.

All packages must be paid for in full. No session by session payment is allowed. No refunds are given. All checks can be made payable to J.R. Perdew.

Single Lessons and the Rookie Special expire 2 months from the date of purchase.

Standard 4, 8, 12, 24, and 48 lesson packages expire 1 year from the date of purchase.

Expiration dates for lesson specials will vary.

Injuries will be handled on a case by case basis with written medical documentation.

Players registering for Small Group Lessons are highly encouraged to secure the size of the group before registering. If a player signs up for a small group lesson and the session does not fill, the player registered is responsible for the difference in fee. For example, if 1 player signs up for a 6 player small group lesson ($30) and no one else registers in that session, the balance is $90 for the session.
